We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable individuals to join our team as Ice Cream Scoop Associates! As the face of our parlor, you will create memorable experiences for our customers by serving up smiles, delicious ice cream, and gourmet treats. Key Responsibilities
• Customer First: Greet every customer warmly, answer questions about our flavor lineup, and help them find their perfect treat.
• Precision Scooping: Scoop ice cream, prepare specialty sundaes, pour specialized beverages, and package gourmet items according to our standards.
• Maintain the Magic: Keep the serving area, counters, and guest seating areas meticulously clean and sanitized.
• Point of Sale: Accurately handle cash and card transactions using our POS system, ensuring all policies regarding transactions are strictly followed.
• Restocking: Keep ice cream tubs, toppings, cones, and paper goods fully stocked throughout your shift.
Qualifications & Expectations
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive scooping motions.
• Accountability: High integrity, punctual, and committed to following company policies, including our staff code of conduct and social media guidelines.
•Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Shift Leader / Supervisor
Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Experience Level: 1+ years of food service or retail experience preferred
Job Summary
Our Shift Leaders are the driving force behind a smooth, successful shift. In this role, you will lead by example, mentoring younger staff members while ensuring operational excellence, high cleanliness standards, and top-tier customer service. If you are responsible, organized, and love coaching others, we want you on our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Supervise the shift crew, delegate tasks, and ensure all team members are following established expectations and policies.
• Operational Excellence: Open or close the shop efficiently, ensuring all checklists, cash drawer counts, and security protocols are completed accurately.
• Quality Control: Monitor product presentation, ensure recipe accuracy for specialty items, and oversee proper food safety and sanitation practices.
• Problem Solving: Handle customer inquiries or complaints with grace and professionalism, and resolve minor staff or operational issues on the fly.
• Inventory & Restocking: Assist in monitoring stock levels and preparing the shop for the next shift’s success.
Qualifications & Expectations
• Previous experience in a food service, retail, or hospitality environment (experience in an ice cream or sweet shop is a major plus).
• Proven ability to direct others respectfully and hold team members accountable to company standards.
• Strong math and cash-handling skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
•Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability, including prime weekend and evening shifts.
